Carbomet designs and synthesizes novel materials with enhanced multifunctionality and improved attributes for a variety of industrial applications. Materials form the foundation of technology, and therefore, the most fundamental and transformative improvements to products comes from materials research.

We believe by using nanotechnology we can eventually create materials with atomic precision. This fine control will allow for better products through stronger, smarter, and faster materials.

 Above is an SEM image of a cluster of nano-metal particles supported by 3 carbon nanotubes at 60 degree angles to each other. The future of materials will be such careful arrangements of atoms at the nano-level that will be reproducible at high volume. This particular example of a carbon and metal nanomaterial mix serves as our namesake.
